Sigma Nu at The University of Central Oklahoma
Sigma Nu Mu Tau at UCO is founded on Love, Honor, and Truth. Our chapter values strong brotherhood, leadership development, academic achievement, and meaningful service to the UCO community.
Community and Connections

Service Work, Philanthropy, and Campus Involvement
We stay active on campus and in the community through service and philanthropy. Our focus is on meaningful work that creates a lasting impact.
Community Service
Our brothers have served through projects like food bank support in Marlow, landscaping work at a local church, trash pick-up on a brother’s land, and clean-up efforts at Roman Nose State Park. We show up, work hard, and leave places better than we found them.
Campus Involvement
Mu Tau remains actively involved at UCO through campus events, strategic partnerships, and strong student engagement. We encourage every brother to pursue leadership opportunities and stay connected, because your college experience should extend far beyond the classroom.
Giving Back With Purpose
We believe a strong chapter shows up for people on campus and in the surrounding community. Through hands-on service projects and organized philanthropy efforts, our members take an active role in giving back and supporting those around us. We focus on consistency, responsibility, and meaningful involvement so our impact is real, sustainable, and something our chapter can stand behind.
Grades and Standards
We expect our brothers to be students first and handle their responsibilities accordingly. Sigma Nu is built on accountability in academics, conduct, and how we represent the chapter every day.

Anti-Hazing Policy
Sigma Nu was founded in direct opposition to hazing. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members.
Commitment to Non-Hazing
Our brotherhood is based on mutual respect and the development of men of character. Hazing has no place in Mu Tau. We follow all national and university guidelines to ensure that every candidate and brother is treated with the dignity they deserve, focusing on constructive growth rather than harmful traditions.
